A gentler way to wake

Most alarms don’t wake you — they shock you. The Lumora Sunrise Alarm Clock replaces that jolt with a gradual sunrise so you can wake gently, feeling less groggy and irritated.

Sunrise Simulation

Lumora uses a wake-up sunrise simulation to introduce light into your morning routine, helping you wake more gradually instead of going straight from darkness to an alarm.

Adjustable Light

Choose from 10 light brightness levels, so you can make the glow softer or brighter depending on your room and how you prefer to wake.

Night-Friendly Display

The white LED clock display has four brightness settings: 100%, 50%, 5% or completely off, keeping unnecessary light out of your bedroom while you sleep.

Alarm & Snooze

Choose between two alarm volume levels or switch the alarm sound off entirely. If you need a little longer, the snooze function gives you another 9 minutes.

Customer Reviews

If sound wakes me up, I'm irritated straight away. With light, it actually feels like I've woken up naturally.

I got one this year and I wish I got it sooner. Yeah I still don't enjoy waking up, but it's WAY better than being jolted awake by noise and getting angry immediately (in my case).

Waking up to light is just nicer than opening your eyes to a dark room with an alarm ringing.

Been a total gamechanger for me! My flat gets almost no natural light so it really helps to start waking me up. I have it turn on like half an hour before my first alarm.

I got one about a year ago and it’s made a big difference. The light gradually brightens for 30 minutes and usually wakes me 5–15 minutes before my fiancé’s loud phone alarm. I feel much better in the morning and rarely snooze anymore.

Waking up to something that feels like sunlight genuinely puts me in a much better mood in the morning.

I love mine. The first month I didn’t notice a difference, still kinda groggy when I woke up, but after a while it’s really improved how I feel waking up. It’s a light rousing in the morning instead of a jarring alarm.

My phone alarm used to startle me every morning. With the light, I'm normally awake before it even goes off.

I used to snooze my phone alarm about seven times. With a sunrise alarm I wake up pretty much straight away.

I normally wake up groggy for hours. The first morning with one of these, I actually felt rested for once.

It's so much nicer waking gradually with light. I feel more awake instead of being blasted out of my sleep.

I wish I'd got one sooner. The light wakes me before the actual alarm, so I've never really had to hear it.

Winter mornings are where I notice it most. Getting out of bed while it's still dark feels way less awful.

The gradual build of light is such a gentle wake-up. Usually I'm already waking before the alarm starts.

I realised my alarm was basically throwing me into fight-or-flight. Mornings feel so much more relaxed now.

It feels like a gentle welcome into the world instead of that shock of an alarm going off.
